Let me introduce myself...
Where It All Started
As a high school English teacher of 20 years, writing, public speaking and holding the room is something that has always come naturally to me. Following the sudden loss of my father-in-law and actually being introduced to what a celebrant 'is', my mother-in-law and husband in the midst of their grief kept telling me how suited I would be to this role.
Inspired by their words, I trained with the UK Society of Celebrants and have been a celebrant since November 2021. Creating bespoke weddings, naming ceremonies, and vow renewals is my passion; being the one who can speak the words a grieving family cannot say themselves at a funeral is something else that drives my work too. As an accomplished writer, I also offer a speech writing service for grooms, parents of the bride, bridesmaids, etc.
If using a celebrant is something you are considering, or you have a ceremony in mind that you wish to discuss, do get in touch. I offer a free 30 minute discovery call so that we can talk about how I can be of service to you and what your dream ceremony- whatever that might be- could look like.
